Disable or Enable USB Port of Your PC with a Click and Prevent Data Theft

There are a number of free tools that disables USB port of your PC, so you can prevent anybody copying data from your computer. In addition, as most USB malware uses a file called autorun.inf, which runs automatically when the USB drive is plugged into your PC, you can prevent such malware infection some extend by disabling USB port of your PC.

UsbHandler is a simple application that you can use to disable (also enable) the USB ports of your PC. The app is very simple to use and portable.

Usage of this application is like this. Just run the tool and click “Disable USB” button to disable the USB port of your PC. Likewise, click “Enable USB” button to enable the USB port.

As said above, disabling the USB ports comes in handy if you want anybody to prevent copying files from your computer as well disable possible virus infection via autorun.inf file.
