Though Notepad is a simple text editor, it’s been used for many uses, especially for editing system files. It has been included in all versions of Microsoft Windows, but its interface has not changed much including in the latest Windows 8. If you prefer rather an easy to use interface, you may like Notepad 7with MS Office 2010 like ribbon interface.
Notepad 7 just changes the appearance, but the main functionality is the same as MS Notepad and gives us Office 2010 look and feel. It features an easy to use GUI, accept multiple encoding and save with custom extension.
Using Notepad7 is so simple, just type on textbox and save with default extension '.txt'. If you want to open '.txt' file with notepad7, just change 'Opens with' application property.
