Mind mapping software is very useful if you need to collaborate on critical ideas, especially during a brainstorming session, you tend to skip some important points if you don’t list them in an organized manner. Mind maps can come to your aid to segregate ideas, especially for planning and decision making.
TouchMind is a simple to use, free mind mapping application for Windows 7 that offers some latest Windows technologies like Ribbon Framework, Multi Touch, Direct2D, Jump list, etc for mapping your mind.
Currently following new technologies are used in TouchMind:
- Direct2D
- HLSL (using Direct2D's Direct3D interoperability)
- DirectWrite
- Multi Touch
- Ribbon Framework
- Shell Library (Jump list)
- TSF (Text Services Framework)
- XPS Printing
- MUI (Multilingual User Interface)
This looks like a nice program (that is, if mind-mapping, which I consider to be a huge waste of time and energy, is your thing)...
ReplyDelete...however, I just emailed the author of the program and implored him to please develop for ALL currently-supported versions of Windows, which would ideally include XP, Viata and Win7; and would at least minimally include Vista and Win7.
It is an arrogance to develop anything for only the latest Windows version. This product intentionally excludes literally millions of XP anf Vista users, and so should not be embraced or supported just on priciple...
...or so it is my opinion, in any case.
@GreggL.DesElms,
